Summary: The purpose of this Law, taking into account public health, public
security and public safety is the implementation of public policies and international agreements of
the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of legal turnover of drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors, to counter illicit trafficking, prevention of drug and substance abuse, as well as the
provision of drug treatment persons suffering from drug addiction and substance abuse.
