Notification No.6/2019 - Used Machine

The Ministry of Commerce, in exercising the power conferred under sub-section (b) of Section 13 of the Export Import Law, issues the following notification relating to the import licensing:
The Ministry of Commerce extended the permission to allow the importation of used machineries in 2019 under the conditions prescribed. Importers must apply for permission to import used machines at the Ministry of Commerce, and submit details such as the brand name, capacity, model year, country of origin, energy source, recommendation from the Industry Supervision and Inspection Department, pre-shipment inspection certificate issued within 6 months before the arrival of the shipment and description for use. The machines must have been in use for less than ten years, excepting special circumstances, and function at 80% capacity. The details can be found in the Notification No. 6/2019.
