The purpose of the above measures is to remedy negative impacts of the Covid-19 outbreak, to adjust the use of foreign currency, and to ensure the fair and equitable application of import licenses and administration.
The above measures (19/2023) will apply starting from 22 June 2023 instead of 1 June 2023. The effective date changes in order to use the Myanmar tradenet 2.0 system without any delay and to be able to use the system more easily for importers.
