Regulation No.447/1996 on the use and the prohibition of use of cadmium and its compounds

The Regulation prohibits import of goods if they contain higher amount of cadium than 0.01 per cent of their weight. A waiver can be granted from this rule if it is necessary to use cadium as colouring substance or binding agent for security reasons.
