Is the licensing statutorily required?
The rules and procedures governing authorization of the importation of these products are established in the following texts:
Order No. 054/MCPI/DG/DC/95 abolishing import and export licences and establishing the negative list of products subject to special import authorization;
Order No. 006/MICA/MEE/2000 regulating the importation of certain products and/or materials containing or operating by means of ozone depleting substances;
Order No. 010/MICA/DG/DC/2000 establishing the procedures for the granting of special import authorization for certain products and/or materials containing or operating by means of ozone depleting substances.
