To improve and supplement the previous law, and in particular, for the simplification of complex or difficult terms, this law establishes a basis for prohibiting imports of foreign livestock products that are found or considered to be harmful:
Processing of Livestock Products Act has been changed to Livestock Products Sanitary Control Act.
Certain labelling standards have been removed and products that are prohibited for sale have been added.
Modification of the official English name of the administrative body for submission of applications: Regional Food and Drug Administration → Regional office of Food and Drug Safety
