Pursuant to Chapter (IX) section (21) of the Atomic Energy Law, a person desirous of importing or exporting any kind of radioactive material or irradiation apparatus shall apply to the Department in order to obtain prior permission before applying for import-export permit or license to the relevant government department or organization.
